designspilot (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is an AI-powered mobile UI design platform operated by the designspilot team. Our website is designspilot.com. You can reach us at hi@designspilot.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account data: Your name, email address, and authentication credentials when you sign up (including via Google OAuth).
• Usage data: Prompts you submit, projects and screens you generate, and feature interactions — to improve the product and personalise your experience.
• Payment data: When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), our Merchant of Record. We receive a subscription status and customer identifier; we do not store raw card details.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and log data for security and performance monitoring.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the designspilot platform.
• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions via Paddle.
• To communicate product updates, billing notices, and support replies.
• To monitor abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your prompts or generated designs to train AI models without explicit consent.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication and database storage.
• Paddle: Payment processing and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes billing data on our behalf. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
• Mistral AI / AWS Bedrock: AI generation. Prompts are sent to these services to produce design output.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Generated design data may be retained in anonymised form for product improvement purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hi@designspilot.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Firebase security rules, and server-side secret management. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

9. Children's Privacy

designspilot is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a banner on the platform. Continued use of designspilot after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
